PHOSTREAT 242

PHOSTREAT 242 is based on a synergistic blend of phosphates and specific polymers for dispersion and phosphate conditioning. It can be used for boilers of any pressure to precipitate calcium hardness as a mobile phosphate sludge which can be easily removed via blow down.

PHOSTREAT 242 is normally dosed so as to maintain 30-70 mg/l as a phosphate reserve in the boiler water. The optimum treatment level depends on a number of conditions including the boiler pressure and the chemical characteristics of the feed water and the actual dosage rate will be determined by SWTC.

PHOSTREAT 242 may be injected using a dosage pump, dosage pot to either the feed tank or boiler shell, as appropriate to the particular plant. In diluted or undiluted form.
