CHEMTREAT 271

CHEMTREAT 271 is silicone based and is used for the prevention of foam in cooling water systems as well as wastewater plant. It may be safely used in food process industries where food grade antifoam is required. 

CHEMTREAT 271 is normally maintained at a concentration between 10 ppm and 100 ppm in the recirculating water. SWTC will establish the concentration necessary for the particular operating conditions. CHEMTREAT 271 may be diluted with water if desired and applied by means of a pump. More usually, it is applied intermittently and may be added to the cooling pond or process without dilution
