ALKATREAT 22 is an alkaline based product which is used as an alkalinity builder for steam boiler feed water. This then enhances corrosion protection and scale inhibition in the feed and boiler waters.
ALKATREAT 22 is applied so as to maintain the boiler water alkalinity within limits which will be establishedby SWTC to suit the operating conditions. Water characteristics will determine the dosage rate. ALKATREAT 22 may be injected using a dosage pump, dosage pot or direct to feed tank as appropriate to the particular plant.
