CHEMTREAT AH 1 is an inhibited acid descalant for the removal of scale deposits and iron oxides from a wide variety of boilers and other heat exchange plant whilst leaving the parent metal untouched.
For removing hardness deposits, a sample of scale should, if possible be removed from the plant and placed in a solution of the solvent at the temperature at which the clean will be carried out. The concentration required is generally in the range of 5-15 % of water depending on the quantity and characteristics of the scale being removed.
